ENTRIES
Entry is now closed. No entries on the day!
You must be 18 or over on race day to take part.
Race day information will be emailed to all entrants during the week beginning 6th June and will also be available here and on the event website. Race numbers and timing chips are collected when you register at the Meadows sports centre in Ellon on race day. Please note that no information will be sent out by post.
Entrants will start in three waves of runners. Where you start will be based on the previous Ythan Challenge time or most recent 10k time you’ve given us. Please make sure you fill in this section of the entry form accurately.
TEAM ENTRIES
You can enter as many runners as you like in a team with the first three across the line to count. Please note, though, that you do have to enter as a specific team using the same team name — we won’t count three individual runners with the same club affiliation as a team.
PRIZES
There are prizes for the first, second and third men and women overall. There are also prizes for the first Male and Female Vets (40-49), first Male and Female Supervets (50+), and first Male and Female Vintage Vets (60+). There are also prizes for the first team, first uniform team and first corporate team, as well as spot prizes. Prizes are provided by The Running Shop supported by Mizuno.
SOS INFO
Please make sure you give us the name and phone number of a race day contact – we do insist on this!
SWAPS
Please DON’T allow someone else to use your number if you can’t run — this is a challenging event and it is essential we know exactly who is running on the day. If you’ve already entered, find you can't run and have someone to swap with, email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that we will not organise a swap for you.
Any questions, please visit the FAQ page and if the answer isn’t there, email us.
INSURANCE
We recommend that all entrants take out personal injury insurance, just as a precaution. Among specialist insurers offering one-day cover are Sports Cover Direct who can give you an online quote.
